Common S24 Ultra problems we fix

• Cracked AMOLED with green-tint lines. A drop on the titanium edge usually cracks both the Gorilla Armor and the OLED stack underneath. Full panel swap is the only fix.
• Ghost-touches on the edge of the display. A damaged digitiser even when the front glass looks intact — common after edge drops.
• S Pen won't write / pressure not registering. Either a faulty pen, a clogged silo, or a damaged digitiser. We diagnose all three.
• Fingerprint sensor not recognising / "moisture detected" warning. Often a faulty under-display ultrasonic sensor — we test before any screen work.
• Battery drops to 0% rapidly / phone reboots randomly. Cell degradation past 80% of original capacity. New 5,000 mAh battery restores normal runtime.
• USB-C port won't fast-charge or transfer data. Pocket lint first; replacement if needed. Affects both wired charging and the DeX connection.
• Rear camera glass cracked but image still works. The 200 MP main, 50 MP telephoto, 10 MP telephoto and 12 MP ultrawide all share lenses that crack on hard impacts — we replace the lens cluster without disturbing the sensors.

Why is the S24 Ultra screen more expensive than an iPhone screen?

The S24 Ultra panel is a single bonded assembly that includes the QHD+ AMOLED, the digitiser, the S Pen pressure layer, the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and the Gorilla Armor anti-reflective top coat. You can't replace the parts separately — it's all one piece, and Samsung prices the parts accordingly.

Will the S Pen still work after a screen replacement?

Yes. The S Pen relies on an EMR digitiser layer that's built into the new panel; pressure sensitivity, tilt and the air-action gestures all work exactly as before.

Will the in-display fingerprint sensor still work?

Yes — we use AMOLED replacements that include the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in the correct alignment. We re-enrol your fingerprint after the repair so it works first time.

Will I keep all my data?

Yes. Screen, battery, back-glass and port repairs don't require any access to Android — your photos, messages, contacts and apps stay exactly where they are.

How long does an S24 Ultra screen repair take?
