The iPhone 13 Pro is four years old now and arrives on our bench mostly for two reasons: the battery has dropped past 80% health, or the 6.1-inch ProMotion OLED has cracked from a drop. Common iPhone 13 Pro problems we fix
- Battery dies before noon / shuts down at 20%. The 3,095 mAh cell degrades after roughly 500 full charge cycles — typical for a four-year-old phone. A new battery brings runtime back to launch-day.
- Cracked OLED with ghost-touch. Almost every drop damages the digitiser even when the glass looks fine. Full panel swap is the only proper fix.
- ProMotion stuck at 60 Hz / scrolling feels juddery. Usually a Settings reset; occasionally a faulty display flex. We diagnose first.
- Telephoto camera cracked but Wide and Ultra Wide work. The triple-camera array shares one cover lens — we replace it without disturbing the sensors.

iPhone 13 Pro repair FAQs
HD or OLED screen — which one should I pick?
The OLED is the right choice if you watch a lot of video or use the phone outdoors in bright sunlight. The HD panel is excellent in normal indoor use and saves you £25 — most customers can't tell the difference.
Will Face ID still work after the screen is replaced?
Yes. We transfer the original Face ID dot projector, flood illuminator and ambient sensor to the new panel so Face ID works exactly as before.
Will ProMotion 120 Hz still work after a screen replacement?
Yes on both HD and OLED panels we fit. ProMotion is driven by the A15 Bionic, not the panel — as long as the screen supports 120 Hz (both ours do), the feature works exactly as factory.
How long does an iPhone 13 Pro repair take?

Will my data be deleted?
